The right fit.

Complete our new client interest form to start the process of connecting with one of our therapists and ensuring they are the best fit for your needs.

Once that is completed, our intake coordinator will reach out to you with next steps.

Typically, those steps include a free 15-minute phone consultation with the therapist. We’ll send the needed paperwork to get started - it can all be completed online quickly & easily.

(We are happy to accommodate other ways to complete our paperwork if our online system doesn’t work for you.)

FAQs

How can therapy help me?

Therapy helps you understand how your experiences in life have led you to where you are now. You’ll learn to hone in on the patterns that have developed in your thinking and nervous system to better understand yourself and your current needs. Therapy allows you to not only focus on what’s wrong, but also focus on your strengths and the best ways to practically apply what you’re learning in your day to day life. Our goal as therapists is to “work ourselves out of a job.” Our hope is that you leave therapy with a renewed self-trust and confidence in your ability to navigate the ups & downs of life according to your personal values.

What is therapy like?

While there are times when therapy can feel similar to talking to a friend and we hope you’ll feel very comfortable with your therapist, there are some specific differences.

Your time in therapy is set aside just for you. Your therapist is trained to approach your story in a non-judgmental way that focuses on helping you process your own thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Rather than giving advice, a therapist helps you feel more connected to yourself, your most trusted supports, & your inner wisdom.

Does virtual therapy really work?

Yes! For many years, research has shown that virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. We were solely virtual from March 2020 to July 2022, and we’ve seen our clients make amazing progress without ever stepping foot in a therapy office!

We ensure that all of our methods of communication with you are via secure platforms that help maintain confidentiality and provide quality care.

As of August 2022, we are now able to offer in-person sessions at our office in Little Five Points in Atlanta.

How does payment work?

We have a whole page on this! Check out our payment policies here.

Can I use my health insurance?

We are not an in-network provider with any insurance companies. You may choose to use out-of-network benefits if those are available to you through your health insurance plan. You’ll need to reach out to your insurance company to understand your coverage. For more on the benefits of private pay and for questions to help you talk to your insurance company, click here.
